DAN OXYGEN INSTRUCTOR

The Objective of the Dan Oxygen Provider Course is to train and educate the general diving public in the techniques of using oxygen as first aid for a suspected diving accident. In addition, this course will introduce the novice diver to the fundamentals of dive accident recognition, response, and management. This program provides an excellent opportunity for experienced divers and instructors to continue their education.

The DAN Oxygen Instructor Course is a 10 hour program designed to teach you how to organize, promote, and conduct the DAN Oxygen Provider Course. In the program, you will learn the proper techniques for demystifying the use of oxygen in a diving accident. The DAN Oxygen Instructor program will also qualify you for the PADI Oxygen First Aid Specialty Instructor Rating.

    • PADI Assistant Instructor or higher
    • Current CPR Certification
