IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR
The purpose of this program is to train qualified Instructors to become preferred staff members for IDC’s. The program is a two phase process consisting of a two day orientation and the auditing of a complete IDC. During the orientation, Candidates concentrate on sharpening their teaching presentation skills and developing their ability in the evaluation of teaching presentations during the IDC. The final phase to qualify for the IDC Staff Instructor rating is the auditing of an entire IDC. Candidates find the auditing phase of the program to be extremely useful not only in introducing them to all of the components of the IDC, but also honing their knowledge on PADI systems, standards, and procedures. The IDC Staff Instructor Rating meets one of the prerequisites for becoming a Master Instructor. Prerequisites
