INSTRUCTOR ORIENTATION COURSE
The PADI Instructor Orientation Course (IOC) is a special program designed to enable qualified Instructors from other diver training organizations to become PADI Instructors. This program recognizes that training and experience instructors gain through their affiliation with other training organization, and enables them to qualify for PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC). As a result, the IOC concentrates heavily on orientating the candidate to the PADI system of diver education and training philosophy. The four day IOC is followed by a two day Instructor Evaluation (IE). The IE is held several times a year and is conducted by PADI Instructor Examiners. Prerequisites
