dive team.
- This program will provide the foundation for Open Water qualified divers for developing Rescue, Search &
Recovery skills.

What you will learn..
Advanced Open Water:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy-Basic skills of any diver are to have exemplary buoyancy skill. This is the skill
all other skills build upon.
- Navigational Skills-Part of any Search and Recovery Diver is proficiency in navigating a search pattern.
- Night Diving Skills-Let's face it, not all accidents happen during the day. Being able to work a dive light
while running a compass or reel search could be very demanding with out proper training.
- Deep Diving Skill's- Not all searches take place a 15 foot river. Proper deep diving skills are a must for
any public safety diver.
- Search & Recovery- This is an introductory dive, providing exposure to Search Patterns Lift bags use and
Reels.

- Search and Recovery dive planning
- Organization-Planning for your team
- Search & Recovery Team Procedures,
- Special techniques on how to handle common and potential problems.
- You'll also cover limited visibility,
- Different types of search patterns.
- How to safety rig an object and recover it using lifting devices
Rescue Diver
- Self-rescue and diver stress dive first aid
- Emergency management and equipment
- Swimming and non-swimming assists
- Panicked diver response
- Underwater problems
- Missing diver procedures
- Surfacing the unconscious diver
- Inwater artificial respiration
- Egress (exits)
- First aid procedures for pressure related accidents
- Ddive accident scenarios
